Specification
Light
Loves bright, indirect light to keep those vivid colours popping. It can handle some direct morning or late afternoon sun, but harsh midday rays may cause leaf scorch.
Watering
Water when the top 2-3cm of soil feel dry. In cooler UK months, water less frequently and ensure the pot drains well to avoid soggy roots.
Temperature
Thrives in temperatures between 18-24°C. Protect from cold drafts and frost, and don’t let it sit near radiators.
Humidity
Tolerates normal household humidity well.
Fertiliser
Feed each time you water in spring and summer with a diluted liquid fertiliser to encourage growth and vibrant colour. No need to feed in winter.
Toxicity
Mildly toxic to pets if ingested. It can also cause skin irritation, so best kept up high if you've got curious paws or little hands around.
