Light

Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch its leaves, while lower light may reduce its stunning mottled variegation. A north or east-facing window is ideal.

Watering

Water when the top 2-3cm of soil feel dry. In the UK’s cooler months, reduce watering as growth slows. Avoid letting it sit in water.

Temperature

Best kept between 18-24°C. Protect from cold drafts and keep away from radiators in winter, as dry air can cause leaf browning.

Humidity

Prefers higher humidity (50%+). Will be fine in most households but a humidifier will make sure it thrives.
