Specification
Light
Thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light but will grow slower and produce smaller leaves. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent scorching.
Watering
Water when the top 2-3cm of soil feel dry. In the UK’s cooler months, reduce watering to avoid root rot.
Temperature
Keep between 18-26°C. Protect from cold drafts and avoid placing near radiators, which can dry it out.
Humidity
Prefers moderate to high humidity (50%+). It will adapt to normal household conditions but would benefit if you have a humidifier or pebble tray.
Fertiliser
Feed every time you water in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser to support growth. No need to fertilise in winter.
Toxicity
Toxic to pets if ingested, so best kept out of reach.
