Description
Coffea Arabica – Potted in 12cm clear nursery pot.
Also known as the Arabica coffee plant, this lush little number brings a tropical vibe and a touch of novelty to your indoor jungle. With glossy green leaves and a dense bushy form, it’s the very same species used to grow real coffee beans. While it’s unlikely to fill your mug any time soon, it’s a charming and surprisingly easy going houseplant that adds texture and interest to any space.
This plant comes hand potted in a 12cm clear nursery pot, so you can keep tabs on its roots and watering needs without the guesswork. It’s rooted in our signature Sexy Soil; chunky and free draining, designed to keep things airy and avoid soggy soil situations.
Native to the highlands of Ethiopia, Coffee arabica prefers warm, humid conditions and dappled light, just like it would get growing beneath a rainforest canopy. It’s not a fan of the cold, so keep it cosy and it’ll thrive indoors.
It likes bright, indirect light and evenly moist soil (don’t let it dry out completely). A regular misting won’t go amiss, and it’ll appreciate a boost of humidity during winter.
Care level: Moderate
Each Coffee arabica plant is slightly different in size and shape, but all are healthy, well-rooted and ready to settle in and start living their best life on your windowsill.
